Flake, Collins and Murkowski asked for an FBI investigation. They didn't get one. What they got is a rushed, incomplete and superficial report because that's what the FBI was ordered to do.
While the report is designed to provide CYA for Senators to vote "yes," ironically it also provides cover to Flake, Collins and Murkowski to vote "no." They could point to the report and say it's so obviously incomplete and leaves so many questions unanswered that they have no choice but the vote "no." I'm not predicting this but it is a slim possibility.
Sen. Schumer on the senate floor talking about feelings.
What an embarrassment to continue to replace reason with emotion as a standard of fairness and substitute for the presumption of innocents.
When will the democrats see that the Mob rule they desire is rejected ? Vote !!!
I think it's unhealthy to encourage or further enable people when they are delusional. So once again and for the final time, trying to portray Kavanaugh as an alcoholic is both ridiculous and delusional. Please stop. You're not helping yourself at all.
No matter what side of the isle you are on, objectively, it has to be acknowledged that this process has motivated a previously complacent republican base to become energized to vote in November. Big tactical mistake on the part of dems IMO.
Bunk! They are worked up now but it will all fade over the next four weeks. Winners are not motivated for long. It is the politics of grievance that Trump exploited and that rules.
If the Dems wanted a full investigation, DiFi would have leaked the letter earlier...
So you agree that a full investigation was not done. What is the hurry with the GOP to properly vet someone who would be given a lifetime appointment in the highest court in the land?
They should move on from Kavanaugh. Would that mean Ford wins? In the eyes of most yes. But my reasoning is simply that this sort of investigation attempting to place an individual in the highest court of the land is so tarnished already that it's a no win situation. Would you as a business owner interview a person for a job, and then let it drag on this long and still hire the person? I wouldn't, just because of too many unanswered questions. There will be screaming from both sides no matter what the outcome is.
