The man in question said his mom misspoke. He goes on solo dates. He and his brother laughed it off. I think it's more of a meme/joke than a serious anti-#metoo movement.

Don't go anywhere alone, be aware of your surrounding, and for sure don't dress to attract female attention. Don't drink alcohol or leave your drink unattended. Remember though, if someone does accuse you of assault you probably did something to bring it on. Remember that's just girls being girls and you are kind of a tease.
