What Trump did was disgusting to say the least, but now suddenly that Trump called someone horseface is a big deal? Have you heard something called honesty?
I could not care less about the name calling. It’s just the outrage du jour. Is Trump crass at times? Sure, but I really don’t care. I find it sort of amusing, actually.

Personal attacks such as these are never warranted. I think the statement 'basket of deplorables' backfired so there's an example of not stooping to that level. But the problem is that when one person (candidate) starts with that, it quickly sinks on all sides. I believe the 'basket of deplorables' comment was related to the fact that Trump's campaign tactics and smears (personal smears) were so low and egregious, that to support that pretty much put you in the deplorable camp with Trump. Again, not a smart move politically on Hillary's part; however, I guess she thought that what's good for the goose and all that but apparently not. Only Trump gets away with personal assaults and classless words. Everyone else pays for them. Will he ever?
No because the President's tweets are "free speech" which was why the defamation lawsuit was thrown out even though this tweet shows that maybe it shouldn't have been in the first place. Sadly Trump is Teflon and always has because might makes right in America and likely always will be the case.
