Funny story regarding your comment specifically here in Broward County:

On November 2, 2016, while driving east on Sunrise Blvd near the Galleria, I saw a massive contingent of police vehicles, motorcycles and cruisers, the most I have ever seen, with their flashing blue lights on approaching from the beach. They stopped traffic in all directions at each intersection and commercial entry/exit point. While stopped I saw the entire procession drive past me in the opposite direction. In the middle were several black SUVs.

When I got home shortly thereafter, I turned on the local news and WTVJ was reporting that Hillary Clinton had landed at Fort Lauderdale International Airport and was having a political rally at the WalMart in Lauderhill. I thought to myself: why would Hillary land at FLL and not take I-95 the 10 miles directly to Lauderhill? Instead her huge police-escorted procession took a much longer route driving first 5 miles east from the airport to A1A, then 5 miles north past the luxury hotels, condos and homes along the beach, and THEN west 10 miles to Lauderhill.

So why would Hillary drive that much longer, circuitous route THROUGH the most affluent areas of Fort Lauderdale first, and not stop to meet & greet anyone?

On the topic of professions and occupations here is an interesting study done based on data compiled from those that make political campaign contributions.

Democratic vs. Republican occupations

I fall into the assigned career path according to this. My husband does not. But I bet if you broke down his industry between private and public he'd fall into the assigned category.

One could guess with a high probability how we vote based on our current zip code. That didn't work for our two previous locations though when we were heavily outnumbered.

Funny thing about that graphic is that if every occupation on the left side vanished, life would go on without much notice. You can't say the same about the occupations on the right ...

I panned around here for a few minutes and managed to find a precinct that didn't register a single vote for Trump and one that didn't register a single vote for Clinton. If one were standing in line at the local polling place in either of these districts you'd be almost certain of everyone's voting preference.

My precinct went 77% Clinton.

No books (librarian and bookseller), no buildings (architects, engineers, planners, AND carpenters), No baby doctors (pediatricians and midwives) no teachers, skilled trades, or labor. Enjoy your world but I'll take both categories, thank you.

50 year old black guy....probably democrat. 60 year old white guy with a resting frown face.....Republican.

I am a 60+ white leaning republican guy and definitely don't have a frown on my face.

Looking at what this Republican administration has done, has put a smile on my face.

I am almost sure now that black guy most likely now has a job like a lot of black due to this administration economical policies he also has a smile on his face.

There are some occupations such as Architects that might be missed but a lot of the left sided jobs are specialties and their jobs would be replaced by the people doing the generalities. But, to be fair Architects and Engineers might be the exceptions.

Pediatricians jobs would be covered by GP's...etc.

My point was though that most of the left leaning jobs are not vital to our way of life...life would go on much like before. The same cannot be said about the majority of the right sided jobs.

For instance, I'm a truck driver...if we all disappeared, the country would grind to a halt within 3 days.

And I'm in engineering. You wouldn't have a road to travel on. But it's nice of you to make an exception for me but curiously not for teachers.

If you scroll down below the two columns you'll see that physicians land in the blue category and medical services goes even more blue.

You can nit pick all you want...I think you actually understand what I was saying and have no choice but to agree....even though you don't like it, so you're throwing up these obtuse objections.

As for teachers...ANYONE can teach...and there's a pretty good argument today as to exactly how much teachers today actually teach.
