If I were to generalize, which is the purpose of this thread, doctors are split.
General practitioners Blue.
Specialists Red.
General practitioners usually really care about people. Mine is very concerned about me. Most specialists are into making money, that's why they are Repubs. However, we have had a few very good specialists, and I'm happy that they are well paid for their expertise.

Are the two mutually exclusive?
Can’t you be “into making money” and “really care about people” at the same time? I feel like I have the capacity for both, and I am pretty sure that there are many, many more like me.
I feel like many general practitioners have a more socialist mindset, not to say that they are socialists, just that they are more socialistic than a lot of people that go into the specialties. There may be something about that mindset that draws them to be general practitioners. I dont think that means that they care more or less about people, just that they have different ideas of the best way to take care of them.
Capitalists believe the best and fastest way to advance the human race, is through a system of rewards based on accomplishments and innovation. Socialists seem to believe human advancement will happen just as quickly without the rewards, out of the goodness of people’s hearts, which I find to be very naive. That doesn’t mean I care about people less than socialists do, it just means I am more realistic than them.
It's truly remarkable how merely four people--me, No_Recess, Volobjectitarian, Frank DeForrest--can get so many people on this board so worked up simply because our eyes are open and we refuse to conform to red-blue orthodoxy. It shows the power of our beliefs and how it truly frightens people into challenging their own belief systems.
I--along with other ancaps, agorists, and voluntaryists--am free in my mental state, if not physically free because of the physical State. I understand reality and the fact that as long as the State exists, none of us will ever be truly free. That's why I choose to voluntarily not participate in any of the State's institutions, such as voting, standing for the anthem, flag-waving, etc., as doing so just gives the State legitimacy.
Man, you guys do take yourselves seriously, don't you?
I feel like I can maybe 80% of the time. I started doing that a LOT after 2016. But back then, any white person I saw who looked middle to upper class I called R because that buffoon won.
Now, I go based on their reactions to me. I live in Texas and I will say, democrats tend to be more friendlier overall no matter income.
Mid to upper class, nice car, clothes, etc. I get half smiles and a general sense of cold detachment and standoffishness from republicans. The soccer moms, junior league, my kids go to a private Christian school, etc.
Democrats money just tend to be more chatty, hold the door, talk to you in line (we converse about why Kroger is turning into Walmart with 2 lanes and about 50 customers and the U-Scan backed up too).
As a minority, I can ALWAYS spot a minority republican. Minority republicans are very snobby and standoffish. It's like a "I've arrived so I look down on other minorities slightly type." I know and have these coworkers. At my job, I watch my back for the few minorities rather than the majority white. The minorities side eye me like "okay, ME or the black girl...only one of us can be on top"
I feel my observations and assumptions on Hispanic women are spot on. The more snobby/standoffish to anyone but a white person....republican. Hispanic woman, married to white man. Republican all day long. Others are a mixed bag.
The first time I met my boyfriend's parents and brothers, I thought they were Republicans. Most of them are veterans; most of them drive American cars, and this is an upper middle class family. Pretty much everybody is financially comfortable. Most of them are gun lovers. Both his parents love Harley. Well, they are all Democrats.
When I told them I am a registered Republican and I voted for Trump. They looked so shocked, but they told me their love for me didn't change. lol
You can't judge a book by its cover. Plus, although we all have our differences, and sometimes, we got into this heated debate. Most of us probably are very good people in real life.
I met a poster in real life. He always argued with me for some reasons on the internet, but I respected him because personal attack is something he simply won't do. He is a very nice guy in person, and we are still friends. He's a Democrat. I thought he was the annoying social justice warrior type, he is not. He is much more pleasant in real life.

How accurate do you think you would be in identifying a persons party affiliation just by looking at them?
50 year old black guy....probably democrat. 60 year old white guy with a resting frown face.....Republican.
Heck no you don't know what political party someone belongs to by just looking at them, in order to determine that you would need to subject them to truth serum CIA interrogation.
Take a good long look at my photo, I have been a Independent since 1982, now doesn't that just blow your mind(?)
