One could say that about the last 200 years. The American people have their recourse at the ballot box. They did not elect Acosta or the press to be moderator of White House conferences and force one to answer to the liking to their liking. What Trump said about the caravan was "I consider it to be an invasion". That's his interpretation, his opinion.

I can see throwing chocolate milk on someone as being battery more than I can see accidentally touching someone's arm because they are reaching across your body to take a mic being battery. I just hope it wasn't the True Moo whole chocolate milk. That stuff is way too good to be wasted.

Actually, he should fire Pence and appoint Si Robinson. They share so much common intellectual ground.

It was, that was Trump initiating force against someone. Additionally actual force was used, not the brushing of arms like with Acosta. Making Trumps actions FAR FAR worse.

Its the difference between brushing up against someone, and actually shoving someone out of your way like some schoolyard bully.

Trump knows that his days as a free man are numbered. He can do nothing but attack reporters and his own party.

Trump is the first president to stick to his campaign promises no matter how ruthless the media becomes! As of now I'll be happy to vote for him again.

Fun part starts at 1:05, I suggest viewing at 0.25 speed and you can clearly see acosta accosting the intern, she has a WTF look on her face.
The better analogy would be if there was video evidence of the judge and doctor standing in the middle of the room chatting and she cried rape. The truth is you can't compare the two incidents because there was no video of what may have happened in 1982. There is video of what happened yesterday and Jim Acosta did not assault the intern even if InfoWars did doctor the video and the White House press secretary referenced it.

Now Acosta's press credentials have been revoked.

That so many on this forum are posting in support of Trump is telling.
Very true.

All of the journalists knew the protocol prior to the press conference. You surrender the mic when POTUS calls on the next journalist. Acosta was the only one who chose to not do so, and on top of that assaulted the intern in order to keep the mic. Assault an intern trying to do her job at the press conference, get your WH press credentials revoked. What's so hard to understand about that?
