And we should care what they think why Mr Dean? Imagine if they said Howard Dean should be president, should we automatically make it so then?
Why would anyone care what this loser says?

In Europe we think the only values Trump stands for are money and narcissism, if that's a value.

He says that the Saudi crowne prince may or may not have ordered the murder of a journalist but it doesn't mater because they buy so many nice and expensive weapons from U.S. businesses. Great values right there. Saudi has a terrible human rights record and has close ties with terrorists but none of that matters to Trump.

Also, most Europeans don't view America as the greatest country on the face of the planet. No universal healthcare, college/university education too expensive for many, much higher violent crime rates than Europe, huge income and wealth inequality, the list is long. I'm not saying Europeans think socialism is better than capitalism, but we do think that a social market economy is better than pure, unregulated capitalism with little regard to the poor and disadvantaged

"America is the greatest country on the face of the earth" is often touted by so called American patriots and of course it's something that Americans want to believe. But facts don't support it. If you base that believe on economic or military strength one then that says a lot about values. On average people are more obese and less happy, in the US than in many other countries, for example. The healthcare system is expensive (as it is all private and companies need to make money), prisons are full, drug problems are severe, more gun death than in any other civilized country etc.

Having said that, many things are great about America, but it is ignorant and arrogant to believe that America can't learn anything from other counties.

edited to add:

Sorry if I have strayed a bit off topic. Of course Trump is the legitimate President of the USA. I and many others inside and especially outside the USA don't like or respect the guy. But he is the legitimate president.

He is the legitimate president whether I like it or not. Most (Rational) people understand this is a fact. I detest the man and his third grade vocabulary. That doesn't change the fact that he won. The left were all worried about the right not respecting the electoral college results, when in fact they have choked on it.

Howard who? His opinion matters more than anyone elses why?

that from a off beat ex gov of VT who thinks he speaks for ? people overseas?

maybe he is referring to meeting rosie O'Donnell or crazy alec Baldwin in Paris?

maybe he is talking about a group of liberals across the vast waters of lake Champlain???

the 'people overseas' didn't not want a European union!

the people overseas, beheaded and crucified Christians

the people overseas shot missiles into Israel from schools and hospitals

Dean forgets Trump is legally elected and Hillary's coronation was cancelled by her expectation that the fix was in.

Putin paid Dean to help divide the country....he must be running for president again in 2020.

If you don't care what Howard Dean thinks then why did you start a thread about Howard Dean's thoughts?

No matter who is President, there's going to be people in the US and abroad that are butthurt about it...trump has taken that up a notch or two and I'm loving him for it.

But they loved Obama and laughed at us that we elected him. Just so America was taken down a peg or three and they could rub our faces in it.

Trump has lots of admirers overseas. Dictators and thugs like Putin, Duterte, Erdogan, Mohammed bin Salman, etc. But among decent and rational people it's fair to say that he has zero admirers.
