Trump "being a jerk" is part of his negotiating strategy. Sometimes your personality shows the opposition your resolve, and that you won't be steam rolled. Obama was too nice of a guy, and got STEAM ROLLED. Initially you want to "sour relations" to show you're serious. Negotiating 101.

It's a reminder of the sad state of affairs in our politics. A scream seemed to disqualified him but all of the MUCH more disgusting things that have come out of the maniac's mouth did not disqualify him.

It is hard to see how you could make such a comment, as "most rational people" do see him as our legitimate president. This includes those who dislike Trump and wish someone else was president.

As a comparison, many people in this country thought Obama was a horrible president, This despite a favorable and complicit press/media.
However even those who despised Obama, if they were rational, they still would have considered him our legitimate president.
Thus only irrational people (probably suffering from TDS) do not regard Trump as legitimate.

As an aside, whether people like or dislike Trump, they should expect people in other countries (who do not get balanced/fair news) to believe whatever their news sources have to say. Thus since Trump gets 90% + bad press, it is likely their news sources (Reuters, AP, etc.) have implied he stole the election or the Russians "hacked the election" on behalf of Trump. That combined with an ongoing investigation (going on 3 years now), it is not hard to see how uniformed people in other countries might be concluding Trump is "not legitimate"

Of course that is what the leftist press (both here and abroad) is hoping to do, and is playing an active part of trying to frame that leftist narrative to harm Trump.
You do not need to be a fan of Trump to see it, as it is obvious to anyone who is fair minded & rational.

It's amazing that the left doesn't understand this.

Excellent post Vector1. And it's so obvious that it's amazing that the left can't see it.

Notice something else... people bought into media rhetoric about the Obama admin (tingle up leg love for Obama) and now they buy into the media rhetoric about Trump (Trump derangement syndrome). Obviously some people are easily led by the nose, their minds are controlled by the media.

Because many on the Left are not businessmen, nor pragmatists. They look at only the immediate surface of any issue, then allow their emotions to take over.

And people make the worst decisions when they are emotional.

What I find most amazing is why anyone at all would give anything Howard Dean has to say any notice at all. They guy is a blathering idiot. The big news would have been if Howard Dean had anything positive to say about anything at all which he never does.

Trump being a jerk is just an indication ... that he is a jerk.

Is this what Trump voters have to hang their hat on, now?
