This is so dumb, read what they say, not the BS artists at the wall street journal who want to turn every event to a circle jerk about capitalism.

These people hate the rich, the want democratic assemblies, more worker rights, less access to capital for corporations, lower rent, and less taxes on the poor and working class.

The neoliberalism establishment America has forced on the world is burning and our elites both the democrats and republicans are going to burn as well.

The rest of the world doesn't by US imperialistic nonsense like Americans do.

This motley crew of many thousands is a real problem for Macron and the Globalists - it's comprised of so many groups that they can't find a "leader" to negotiate with.
Good. Nothing good would come of it anyway. You can't negotiate with government tyranny.

Actually read the french press, not the American BS artists who want to use this to show US imperialism is popular.

Liberals and Conservatives are desperate to tell Americans these protests are far right so they can argue that actual grass roots left wing activism is non-existent.

The truth is these people hate the rich corporate and state powers Macron serves and that is a threat to the democrats and republicans who need to feed people their lies:

So what does that mean that they hate the rich, etc.. it makes no sense. They hate it because their lives suck and they are already a socialist country with free healthcare. Have you ever been to France, they take huge lunch break, what more do they want. Workers have a lot of rights there already. Let’s not try to push your Bernie Sanders view here.

So righties get all excited about "war zones" and protests when they believe the protesters are on their side?

But they DETEST peaceful protests like kneeling football players and pink hats.

Interesting how the right to protest isn't extended to your fellow Americans.

The truth is this is an actual left wing movement that is calling for democratic worker councils, lower rent and taxes on the working class, and less control of capital by corporations.

Real left wing populism is foriegn to Americans who only know only what their elite tell them.
First of all, the word "Populist" comes from tbe same root word as "Population".

Populist = The people. As in "We the people".

The alternative is the elites, which most people who speak derisively about "Populists" fail to mention.

You are right about these people being mainstream socialist leftists. Their problem is they are still expecting Macron and the leadership of France to deliver on their utopian socialist promises, and not at their expense, either. Of course that is just not how socialism actually works. The promises are just a manipulative ploy to get power. The benefits are for the elites. Everyone else gets to suffer or pay. If they ever get to the point of casting off the accountability of democratic elections, that is when the horror show will really begin.

And that is how socialism ACTUALLY works.

The French have a lively civic movement unlike America where people worship the powerful.

Bernie is center right/left, he is not what this is about. Real left wing movements have nothing to do with taxes, they have to do with moving control of wealth from corporations to the workers.

That is why people are fighting for their rights, they are fighting against the thug Macron who serves bankers and the elite.

More nonsense. Have you been to Bezerkley? When is it not extended to fellow Americans.
