The French had an option not long ago, they chose Macron. They’re now surprised he prioritizes his globalist agenda over French citizens? Hard to feel sorry for them. The US was in the same situation in 2016, we chose a different, bolder, path. They get more of the same.

So you agree that the politicians specifically stated that an increase in fuel would reduce gasoline usage and therefore help the environment as people shifted to mass transit and more green sources...but you just doubt their sincerity and think it was 100% about paying for their bloated and not fully solvent social programs?
