Who in the voting public is going to follow all that nonsense or even care ? It takes teams of accountants and lawyers to produce the tax return.

Sorry, no they can't!

Why would you blurt out something so completely wrong?

Tax returns are entirely private. No President (or person for that matter) has to or has ever had to publish their tax returns. With good cause, only the IRS can audit a person and then take them to court for evasion. Only then would the result of the ruling be made public.

So what will happen if Trump, as expected, does not release his tax returns? Legally, nothing. https://mic.com/articles/166311/trum...sing-his-taxes

If the Dem House wastes the next two years trying to find crimes based on speculation they are going to get hammered in 2020. THAT is not what they ran on.

He may be an idiot, but he was hired by Hillary.

Some Democratic congresspeople in the next session have indicated they will seek Trump's tax returns. Guess they are the ones who never ran their own business.

A family friend got his Social Security card using his mother's stage name. The IRS caught it when he was nearly 50 because his divorce lawyer turned him in. The court ordered forensic accountant didn't find half the stash. He owned his own business, controlled what he did, and took his paychecks in India. He lived well in Manhattan.

Betcha Trump is more cleaver than that guy.

So take your Red Herring elsewhere.

Americans with meaningful lives could care less about Trumps money or tax returns because it doesn’t help them better their lives.

Democrat says Robert Mueller's end goal is to get Trump's tax return. ...

I don't know who that 'Democrat' is, but I doubt it.

Mueller doesn't need Trump's Tax returns, he probably has more information about the in's and outs of Trump's finances already than Trump himself knows. This is not a joke.

The only reason he might need to look at them is for corroboration on some details he already has. But if, on top of everything else he has done, Trump had also falsified his tax statements the Mueller team would just forward that information to the appropriate State's Attorneys and the IRS because it is in their wheelhouse.

That’s right. There’s an old anti corruption law on the books that enables Congress to simply request it, and it’ll be sent right over!

Ways and Means leadership can view it but would need a consensus vote in order to share it publicly. Even if they don’t make the contents public, they’re empowered to forward nefarious information from it to special council or any other justice department officials they deem fit.

I do believe the IRS, an agency of the federal government, already has his tax returns as is customary. Should there be an issue with them then it is their job to do something about it, as is customary.

It is a crime for a public official to change public policy for personal gain. Why do you think Trump picked the CEO of Exxon to be his Sec'y of State? Once sanctions were lifted, Russian oligarchs and Exxon stood to make billions.

-- If Mueller has proof that Manafort and Stone coordinated with WikiLeaks, and Trump knew about it, that's a felony. Aiding and abetting the release of stolen computer data is a violation of federal cybercrime laws.

-- There is circumstantial evidence that the Trump family has long engaged in shady real estate deals with Russians. If those deals are under the table then that's probable cause that Trump may be guilty of tax evasion. This is sufficient justification to get Trump's tax returns.

As every month goes by the circumstantial evidence pointing towards massive corruption by Trump and his cronies gets stronger and stronger. This administration stinks to high heaven.
This is why reasonable people can't take the TDS as anything other than TDS.

You say suspected crimes are in plain view.

Sanctions haven't been lifted so thats a fail.

I notice the heavy reliance on "if "
That is speculation not crime. Not even circumstantial evidence.
