Well, not now, but in January, after swearing in. At that point, Mueller isn't needed to get the tax returns.

The continuous desire to down pay the lefts despicable acts is bad acting. What does someone have to do, shoot people playing baseball. Oh …...its a little late for that !!!

Out of all past Presidents, Trump is the one who deserves the most scrutiny from American people over tax and business dealings.

But of course as a true follower of authotarian power, you don’t question your leader....because he speaks what you want to hear.

Despite your assumption that a audit is a actual look into someones taxes.....its not. The IRS has a division that specializes in high value tax returns. The average time spent on them when they get audited? About 20 hours. I suspect it would take longer then that to even read Trumps.

As for Mueller wanting Trumps taxes-I suspect he has had them for over a year. Why wouldnt he? And now the incoming Democrats will get them. Fun fact-by law all they have to do to get them is send a letter. No court hearing, no judge, just a letter.

Mueller has probably had Trump's tax returns for over a year.

Adam Schiff will have Trump's tax returns as well in about 5 weeks.

.

At least.

Outside of using the returns as a road map, there probably isn't too much he will do with them.

BUT, you can be sure he sent them to the Southern District and there will be charges of Fraud, Money Laundering and Tax Evasion coming from them once the Dotard is out of office.

Hopefully soon. That should be enough to cleanse America of this scourge for a LONG, LONG Time. Hopefully forever.

He's hiding it because he refuses to release it publicly.
What's so hard to understand?

In any case, Mueller has probably already seen Trumps tax returns, let's face it.
It will all come out in the wash.

So you're okay with being lied to and not the least bit curious about what lyin' crooked Trump has to hide?

He's hiding something. That's blatantly obvious.

It could be nothing more than showing what a terrible business man he really is. He's can't even get a loan in his own country. He doesn't want all of that on show because it will prove what a big fat con man he is. Of course half of the country already know that.

my question to all of this is what right do you have to look at trumps tax returns? you can demand them all you want, and since he still has a fourth amendment right to privacy he can tell you to screw off all he wants. remember the constitution still applies to the president and congress even though we elected them.

just because previous candidates released their returns, doesnt mean they had to, they did it voluntarily. personally i think it is stupid to release their tax returns, they dont tell anyone much of anything, and they only give ammunition to the opposition. remember romney and the allegations teh demonrats laid against him? and all of those allegations were outright lies, which is why reid put his out on the senate floor so he could not be sued over his comments.
