I'm the OP and I def. have this take. There are a few factors that color my perspective though- I think the fact that we have Trump on tape discussing the payment makes it much more likely that he was involved in criminal activity. Add in the fact that Trump lied both about the payments and the sexual activity on a multitude of occasions and it becomes even more likely his behavior was criminal.
Still- I recognize the possibility that he is somehow innocent here. I just think its very unlikely that individuals that practice criminal law for a living would cite him as a criminal conspirator if his behavior wasn't criminal. You do realize those people understand they are talking about the president right? They aren't going to lob accusations that aren't grounded in fact.
