Because walls and fences hurt the feelings of illegals, Trump needs to pass a law demanding ALL walls and fences be torn down. Rich people can pay for their own drones and security guards. The rest of us should be mandated to carry guns.
It also hurts the widdle feelings of the ethnocentric Hispanic citizens in our country who vote Democrat and want a continued flow of their illegal amigos into our country and are demanding amnesty for those here. Democrats don't want to p*ss off a big part of their base, do they? So they don't want walls and keep promising amnesty. Yet, they accuse Trump of playing to his base when the Democrats do the same thing? At least Trump is putting our law abiding citizens first instead of illegal aliens and their racist supporters.
Kirsten Nielsen addressed the Cabinet Meeting today with facts, not feelings. Watch the whole Cabinet meeting to find out what is going on with this administration directly from those involved, not from propagandists like Wolf Blitzer and Don Lemon.
Once again, NO they aren't!!! Most here were border jumpers. Even if visa over staying has increased how does that solve the problem of the border jumpers? Geezus!!! The wall is for them not visa over stayers!!! There are thousands of border jumpers getting in here every month.
And it really hasn't increased. What changed is how we count them. DHS used to not count work visa or student visas before 2016.
People don't even talk about it anymore, but remember how Trump promised his base he would have a special prosecutor investigate Hillary immediately after taking office? His NSA director Michael Flynn and thousands of his supporters were all chanting "lock her up!" at all of his rallies.
And then LITERALLY THE DAY AFTER HE WON the election, Trump issued a statement saying he would NOT investigate Hillary.
And let's not forget about the repeal of Obamacare on the very first day.
Nancy said no in an interview today. No means no, they say. There will be no wall except the metaphorical wall of intelligent and effective border security.
Trump has shut down the government over what he proposed Mexico was to pay for. Should we pay for it?
No, I don't think the gov't. should be shut down. I do think an accurate study should have taken place to determine effectiveness of a wall. There has been many threats from south of the border such as "if we can't go under we will go over".
I do agree with those who see a very real need for an effective barrier of some type between Mex. and the U.S. and there is more than one way to have Mexico pay for it---directly or indirectly.

The bigger question is are we going to have a government shutdown everytime the child in chief has a hissy fit to get what he wants?
