You can't compare Israel's border to the US border. The border is much shorter, there isn't a river like the Rio Grande that comprises a significant part of the border and the terrain along the US Mexico border is much more uneven than in Israel. All of those factors make building a wall here more difficult, way more expensive and less efficient.
There isn't anywhere on our border where a wall is feasible? Did you tell congress that back in 2006 when they approved of 700 miles of it? There already is a lot of fencing for hundreds of miles so WTH do you mean? Where the good walls have been built they have been very effective. In places where it is dangerous and difficult to pass through obviously we don't need walls there as fewer will try and fewer will succeed and man power can be placed in those areas.
You want to talk about expense? I guess paying $100 billion a year for illegal aliens isn't expensive compared to the wall?
There's an illegal immigration problem across the border. Walls work. Trump is trying to do something about it. And you guys are focused on making fun of Trump. You guys need to revisit your priorities.
Nope! Most of it from 2006 was mere fencing not walls. Some of it may have been improved over the years but we still have a long ways to go. Here educate yourself.
Are you suggesting that he doesn't know what he's talking about?
"Trump said:
"One thing that I do have to say is: Tremendous amounts of wall have already been built, and a lot of — a lot of wall. When you include the renovation of existing fences and walls, we've renovated a tremendous amount and we've done a lot of work. In San Diego, we're building new walls right now. And we've — right next to San Diego, we've completed a major section of wall and it's really worked well.""
This crap again? How many times do I have to post the link of Trump's plan to make them pay? Were you and yours concerned about who was going to pay for the wall back in 2006 when it was to be soley funded by the taxpayer? Though not, hypocrites!
There was no plan. Trump winged it and the lifelong con man successfully conned you.
Quote:
"Mexico is paying for the Wall through the new USMCA Trade Deal."

Nope! The good physical barriers aka walls have not been tunneled under nor scaled over successfully only the inferior fencing has. So I guess the Border Patrol are morons when they have stated that the good barriers are very effective? I've even posted links proving that they are but you know better, right?
There's a good wall in San Diego, isn't there?
"While standing 70 feet underground in the Galvez smuggling tunnel between Tijuana and San Diego, Border Patrol agent Lance Lenoir told NBC News last year that border fencing will not stop drug smugglers.
"As long as they get from point A to point B in secret, they're going to do it," Lenoir said. "They're always tunneling somewhere.""
Uh-Oh. Reminding NeverTrumpers that Nancy said "No money" seems to have triggered them. But-but-but.... "Mexico .... Orange .... " yada-yada-yada.
How long will it take to build 55 miles of wall? Will they still be working when the next budget allocation comes around? ..... I expect so.

You're right. We have a problem with illegal immigration. But it's nowhere near being a crisis as Trump claims. A little fencing where it can be shown to be effective. More BP. Improved surveillance. Etc. Problem solved.
