The real question is how many of those 363,000 are actually russians.

Probably don't see it, because that is not the reality.

It seems highly unlikely, illogical and improbable that this would hurt the Dems more than Trump.

Sixty percent of the country does not want the wall and especially not a $5 billion wall at all. Seventy-five percent of the country does not want the government shut down over a wall.

Seems the people are with the Dems, and over half of the country blames Trump for the shut down. Trump is going to be giving a very unconvincing SOTU if he has to give it during a shutdown of his own making.

And we can stop pretending it's the Dems fault. Trump has made deals and welshed so many time--nobody even believes him. His word is definitely not his bond. He is not a man of honor. He is also a total nutjob--that does not help.

This wall issue is a political joke IMO. Why not fund all the homeless/impoverished people in this country with the billions wanted for the wall? You can do other things to tighten border security, of which I have no answer for but believe could be done for much cheaper.

Why don't you see Trump is at least as guilty of "petty obstructionist nonsense"?

Well, let's look at the other side of the coin. Every day that DONALD TRUMP holds out because of his unreasonable demand for money for a stupid wall, he shoots himself in the foot a little more.

All those laid off government employees vote, and they are NOT going to forget who "proudly took responsibility" for this mess.

How do you like the flip side, there, ELO ?

Ever wonder where the idea for the wall came from? Did Trump do some research on it, or did he talk to experts? no, it seems that he said what Roger Stone, Sam Nunberg and Steve Bannon told him to say. They were afraid that Trump would forget to push illegal immigration at his rallies so they gave the simpleton an easy way to remember to bring it up, just say "build the wall". Isn't that reassuring?

Quote:
The concept of the Wall did not click right away with the candidate. “Initially, Trump seemed indifferent to the idea,” writes Green. “But in January 2015, he tried it out at the Iowa Freedom Summit, a presidential cattle call put on by David Bossie’s group, Citizens United. ‘One of his pledges was, ‘I will build a Wall,’ and the place just went nuts,’ said Nunberg. Warming to the concept, Trump waited a beat and then added a flourish that brought down the house. ‘Nobody,’ he said, ‘builds like Trump.’”

Roger Stone and Sam Nunberg are political consultants. Neither man has claimed expertise in immigration policy, particularly the complex issue of deterring individuals from attempting to enter the United States illegally. While Stone and Nunberg have their supporters, both have also experienced their share of controversies, including Stone admitting in December 2018, as part of a legal settlement, to “spreading lies” on the Alex Jones InfoWars program. https://www.forbes.com/sites/stuarta.../#23c3f0144156

I have no idea....

And I still don't know how what Nancy said about it being an immorality had anything to do with this threads original topic of Mexico paying for it?
You looking to get banished?!?
