Now I just saw on the news. Trump wasnts to divert the billions in disaster relief funds from the California fires to build his wall. This man has no compassion for humanity. He will stop at nothing to get his wall. Only to be used in his 2020 campaign. Thats your hero.
So securing our border doesn't equate to compassion for humanity? Once again, it's not his wall but the wall that congress approved back in 2006 with both Schumer and Obama's signatures on it.
They had a plan to take to the president that republicans and dems both agreed to. Trump was going to sign it until he listened to his tv talking heads like Limbaugh. Lindsey Graham was not for a wall at all just a year ago now he is. Mcconnell is hiding, we haven't seen him at all.
Money would be better spent on border agents, judges, and surveillance. The only crisis at the border has been caused by Trump and Sessions and their policies.

I gather reading comprehension is not your strong suit. We built ~700 miles of wall between 2007 and 2011. Illegal incursions across the southern border dropped-and stayed down. That is the excuse LWNJs use to say "we don't need a wall"-while in fact proving that it works. In case you missed it-the recession is over and has been for some time.
Trump is so worried about illegals coming into the U.S, how about he start worrying about all the American's he's hurting by not paying them for the work they do! UNBELIEVABLE! Guess who's not getting re-elected!!
Millions of illegals here already and thousands still crashing our border every month is far more of a threat and creates a lot more harm than some government employee's checks being delayed.
There is a problem at the border. A wall would funnel "migrants" that have a legitimate request for asylum etc.. to places where they could plead their cases instead of trying their luck through more dangerous areas of the border.
I thought the Dems were all about the humanitarian aspect of the "migrants" ? Where is the humanity forcing people to take a dangerous journey and dragging their kids along with them? A wall would stop them from trying and put them in a spot where they could be safe and receive care.
But then again the ones that are risking their lives and trying to bypass our border security know they are breaking the law and that doesn't matter to them because they know if they are caught there are very few penalties for them.
What is happening at the border and happening to our country is not a joke.
No, shame on Schumer and Pelosi for putting illegal aliens above the safety and security of our nation and it's citizens including allowing a shutdown of our government to continue while government employees go unpaid. They are just playing to THEIR base!
They want security and they said so.
