This is nothing more than political theater. As a businessman, Individual 1 solicits cheap labor from illegal immigrants one minute then demonizes them for political leverage the next.

The fact is only 6 non-US citizens were identified as possible terror threats attempting to gain entry via southern US/Mexico border while 41 attempted to penetrate the northern US/Canadian border during the same time frame. Everyone seems largely unmoved by this inconvenient fact.

Quote:
Overall, 41 people on the Terrorist Screening Database were encountered at the southern border from Oct. 1, 2017, to March 31, 2018, but 35 of them were U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents. Six were classified as non-U.S. persons.

On the northern border, CBP stopped 91 people listed in the database, including 41 who were not American citizens or residents.

Where’s the sense of urgency to secure our northern border? This is about our safety and stats show that the northern border is the more immanent terror threat. Where’s the northern border wall GoFundMe effort?

It is not the Dems responsibility to make good on the cockamamie stuff that Trump promised his base during his campaign. He told them Mexico is going to pay for a 2000 mile concrete wall. So let him make good on that. He needs to be talking to Mexico.

Because that is what Trump does. He uses an ax when a scalpel is more appropriate, and he starts fires, puts them out and then proclaims himself a hero. And the Americans gullible enough to believe it will, and the rest of the country will despise him even more.

He's also weakening the GOP in a large way. The Dems are much more united. He does not have a clue how to govern. This ridiculous experiment of having a failed corrupt business person as 'president' is a bust. I think Trump is totally capable of sparking a civil war.

And as so often happens, lawyers will be the real winners. KACHING!

But it will be interesting to hear something labeled an 'emergency' after whay may well be a protrcted legal battle.

The 16th Amendment is the entire cause of ALL the problems WE THE PEOPLE face today.
You are property of the federal government and have not been free, since 1913.
Please keep us posted when 2/3 of the House and Senate agree to poof the 16th and 38 states ratify it.

POTUS has no role in the process.

Oh, Pelosi gets Trump just fine. So do many others.

More tantrum !!!

To bad you weren't there when Trump handed out candy.
A fresh diaper change and some adult supervision will no doubt increase the chances so try that next time.

Its a fight of globalism vs nationalism

You see if theres a wall people have to ask for asylum in mexico. If there is no wall but are other forms of border protection (drones etc) the illegals get to request asylum on usa land. This starts the clock on them being released in the usa. It is all about globalist goals of many in both parties to have a global government.
Guess you haven't heard about the recent failures of the prototypes. There's nothing preventing people from coming over here even with a wall. So your asylum argument falls flat on its face right there.
