There are no hostages. Employees are free to quit govt, just like any other job.
Can you comprehend what would happen if all TSP, controllers, aviation safety inspectors, food safety inspectors, and hundreds of other positions just all QUIT?
The cluelessness is astounding on here! Do you understand how many disabled veterans hold federal positions? Do you comprehend that many of these jobs have no equal to just go to like some of suggest?
Can you comprehend the level of experience and education some of these jobs require?
I know...you just expect them all to go work at McDonald’s, or pay for their unemployment and welfare.
I can’t figure out if your type is just bitter in general or if you tried for federal positions and were not selected.
The more the left complains and throws fits about the wall, the more I know it's the exact right thing to do. The left used to be for border security - so they definitely have an agenda by not having a wall. The left is losing so badly that they no longer hide the fact that they do not give one flying pig's behind about this country.

Just watched the speech...yes, it was an amazing and moving speech; Trump at his finest.
You must have watched a different speech than the rest of us. Since the one you mentioned is his finest then I have to assume he's pretty upset that it wasn't covered by any of the major networks.
Pretty weak speech. I highly doubt anybody that doesn't own a MAGA hat was convinced tonight. Especially with nothing new to say, just his same old talking points.
We have yet to hear Trump mention anything about what he would offer dems in return as far as compromise. So much for Art of the Deal.
