I went to the rally today and it was inspirational. There were thousands upon thousands of people who showed up, and everyone was really patient about the process to be let in, due to security concerns, etc.

It was really inspiring. At this point, anyway, Kamala is my candidate. It would be hard to change me from that idea right now.

I was on VTA buses from San Jose to the BART system, to the event and back, and it took me one more bus transfer before I could even get downtown.

There were many more people than me on the buses and BART who were only there because of the Kamala rally in Oakland. Even our bus driver from BART Fremont (Warm Springs) to downtown San Jose was amazed at how many people were on his bus from Southern Fremont BART station to downtown SJ. He was flabbergasted and kept asking people if they understood that the 181 bus was an express bus, etc.

There is serious ground roots support for Kamala. They all better take her seriously.

I've been to a few different rallies and all of them feel like this... it happens when a bunch of people gather all in support. Just saying, you will find a similar experience going to other big contenders.

I was there. I'm so tired! Having a glass of wine :-)

The estimates are around 20,000 attendees. I would not be surprised. The ony downside is that there wasn't any decent crowd control, as afar as controlling the number of people who showed up.

So, for instance, I got there around 11am, and was told to stand in this line - which by that time was snaking up and down Telegraph. So, if I followed the rules, by the time I got to the check-in gate, hours later, I wasn't able to get into the main area.

So, lesson learned - don't follow the rules.

Still, I was able to get close to a monitor, at least, and was within shouting distance of kamala.

The event definitely should have been better organized as far as how people were able to get into the main event. There were so many people who were able to get into the event before me - even though I was in line hours before them, and obeyed the rules. That should not be allowed to happen.

That pretty much sums up her policy on immigration. Don't wait in line. Better to just skip everyone and stay here illegally. I'll make people like you the focus of immigration instead of the dummies who are doing the right thing spending a decade in lawyer fees and paperwork.

Any proposals she said that you liked or didn't like? Or was it more of a, "like me and vote my personality" type of thing?

I just watched part of her speech on YouTube. She kept yelling " this is not our America". Did she ever say what is her plans for America?

Yes. If you truly watched her speech, you would know this.

Watch her speech and you can decide for yourself.

I did along with her town hall that was tonight. Regarding immigration, her argument is about as ignorant as conservatives are regarding common sense gun regulation. Yes, a wall won't stop all illegal crossings, immigrants, contraband... but to act as if it will have zero affect is complete ignorance. Similar to having universal background checks, assault weapons ban, etc... it won't eliminate gun violence, but to say it would have zero affect is complete ignorance.

I was there, was a solid speech, predictably hitting a lot of themes across the board.

Think she'll at least raise more money than most of the other Dems this year, way more telegenic than the rest of the pack. And someone needs to tell Elizabeth Warren to stop with the silly Instagram posts.

People will look at what's happening to socialist Venezuela and the cesspool SF is becoming. Then they'll see how economically healthy we are under republican rule. Outside of SF she doesn't stand a chance in Hell. Free healthcare, daycare and college?? Spare us these liberal idiots
