The crisis is not along the border. The crisis is in DC and starts with the infant in the WH.

Trump looks to usurp the powers of congress which must appropriate funding. The right lauds this as they enjoy seeing the constitution trampled to suit their desires.

If this stands, no one can complain when a Democrat president decides to declare a national emergency over climate change, or income inequality, or... Well, the list goes on. Be careful what you wish for!

Who knew they were so supportive of eminent domain as well. So much for small government.

It will be great! Thanks Republicans! All for a wall, lol.
You mean socialized medicine emergency
A tax on anything emergency
And a wealth redistribution emergency

Right?

Healthcare, pay for your own.
The climate changes, throwing money at it solves nothing
And outright theft from the haves to give to the have-nots.

LOL. I'm not here to debate whether they are good or bad ideas.

I'm here pointing out how horrible of an idea this is-no matter which side you are on. Me and others disagree a lot on these topics, Know how I want that resolved?

By the politicians espousing them to either rise or fall based upon the will of the people. If we want it-let it go through our process. If the wall is a good idea it should be able to survive on its merits alone. If its not, then it should fail. What shouldn't happen is one man creating a fake emergency to deal with a problem that should be resolved politically. No matter whose side.

Why should I? Trump wrote way more EOs his first two years in office despite same party control of congress. Huge executive overreach

I wish you were right but Trump and his base get to decide what's true and what isn't and since they say this is an emergency, it is and it can't be disputed.

I have commented before that I felt that some of Obamas were too far. And I looked forward to them being dealt with in court. That is a nonsensical bit of whataboutism however as Obamas never got this nuts, nor numerous. It is like "let my guy get away with these 5 murders, because one time your guy went 5mph over the speed limit". Yeah. No.
