Hey; when they're busy little lemmings busting on you guys, at least they're leaving the other "Ca" alone.

Every state should be allowed to secede for any reason whatsoever.

Your state is a festering **** hole, most of us have spent plenty enough time there to know the truth about California. You're overrun with illegals, your most beautiful cities now have streets filled with **** and drug addict needles. People like you love to claim it's the greatest state in the nation while you live in your rental homes located in low class neighborhoods dreaming about one day being able to enjoy all the things you brag to other people about.

We don't hate CA, we hate what people like you have done to it.

I don't care what CA does as long as they deposit my check every month. I don't vote or pay taxes there any longer so I have no say in what they do.

As for the state I'm living in now --- Have at it Lately everybody from the NY Post with their headline "Virginia is for Losers" to people elsewhere in the country are "cast[ing] aspersions". As for me, I'm having a good chuckle thinking about what a mess those politicians are currently in I didn't vote for anyone of them.

And I lived in California for about a year as well, and absolutely loved it, from Long Beach to Crescent City. It's where I plan to go when my family obligations here are finished.

So no, I have not lived an insular life.
Yet, you still call those states "regressive and backward thinking". You obviously didn't meet many people when you were there. I'm guessing that you didn't want to make an effort to talk to people that, in your imagination, are all "regressive and backward thinking". What a shame that you are so closed-minded.

You should visit ND sometime. It's well worth a visit. However, since you already have prejudiced opinions of red states, you probably won't like it there.

Spot on!!

No hatetred for California or her people at all. What most of the Union resent is that California is trying to force her values and views onto the rest of the country.

I'm a Center-Right leaning person, with some liberal beliefs, but I can't go with the Far-Left/Socialist ideals and plans since it would wreck the entire country. Europe is falling a part and moving towards the Center/Center-Left since several decades of Far-Left/Socialist governments are on the verge of failure AND basically having no choice but to follow what ever France and Germany comes up with AND fall in line to whatever comes out of Berlin and Paris.

Again, California isn't going anywhere.

There is no hatred of California, but there is deserved hatred of Californians who want to rule people in other states. That is not how this union was supposed to work. It was supposed to be (1) self-government at the State level plus (2) interstate cooperation on matters of joint interest, like national defense and regulation of interstate commerce (like the USDA inspecting meat). Voting for a powerful central government to impose your will on other states is perverted and wrong.
