The Democrat's star witness is not only going to prison for lying, he is going to prison for lying to Congress.
Let that sink in for a second. The star witness for this hearing in Congress is someone who has already been convicted and is preparing to go to prison for lying to Congress.
Talk about scraping the very bottom of the barrel. That is what we are witnessing here today in this hearing.

Cohen is under oath and Trump's lawyers will not let him give testimony because he cannot testify without committing perjury.
Wow, crazy how coordinated this whole thing is by the republicans. Rep Green yielded some of his time to Jim Jordan. And Jim Jordan IMMEDIATLEY started asking him more questions to attack his character.
The smear campaign against Cohen is unreal. I mean, I get it...I understand why they're attacking Cohen, because he is tearing Trump apart. But good lord, do these republicans have any integrity left?!
Party before country is quite literally on full display for all over America to see.
All they can do is smear his character. They can't ask any real questions because the answers are not in their favor.
Even if Cohen's testimony doesn't result in any legal consequences for Trump, and doesn't lead to impeachment and removal, it might influence enough people who were planning to vote for him in 2020 to not vote for him, thus preventing his reelection.
I'd say he will have a good chance of being primaried after this
Cohen is going a bit thick with his testimony right now. That's not wise. He definitely looks like he's blowing things up for his own purpose. Still, this will hurt the president. I can't see an out for Trump from this but he is always full of surprises.
He may not get impeached, but this will end his 2020 run in my opinion.
What s Cohen s purpose If he LIES he gets MORE TIME IN THE FEDERAL PEN ?
His purpose is to go off to jail for his admitted crimes...with the chance that -the fact that he told the truth about Trump- may have him murdered in prison.
He could very easily be going to his death.
This is a deathbed confession to the Country and to try and help his family heal after he is gone. To remember their father as an honest man in the end.
The Republicans only have one thing, and that's trashing Cohen's credibility and smearing him. They haven't produced anything factual to rebut what Cohen has stated and produced.
And so far they haven't caught him in one lie. And they won't. Meanwhile Trump has already today told one big one claiming that Cohen was just one of his many attorneys and that he barely knew him. Cohen was Trump's PERSONAL ATTORNEY FOR TEN YEARS.
