An Epidemic of Hate Crime Hoaxes Sweeps the Nation

That this case turned out to be a hoax shouldn't come as too big of a shock. A great many hate crime stories turn out to be hoaxes. Simply looking at what happened to the most widely reported hate crime stories over the past 4-5 years illustrates this: not only the Smollett case but also the Yasmin Seweid, Air Force Academy, Eastern Michigan, Wisconsin-Parkside, Kean College, Covington Catholic, and “Hopewell Baptist burning” racial scandals all turned out to be fakes. And, these cases are not isolated outliers.
Everytime I hear about an alleged "hate crime" in the news, I immediately become ultra skeptical. Many of these alleged hate crime incidents turn out to be phoney.
Probably the worst case in recent memory was the Israeli Jewish teen who phoned in thousands of bomb threats to Jewish synagogues and other public places in America:
The Tel Aviv District Court on Thursday convicted an Israeli-American teenager of multiple counts of extortion for waging an intimidation campaign of bomb threats, including against Jewish Community Centers in the United States last year.
Most "hate crimes" are committed by the left. Hate crime hoaxes are also committed by the left because they want to stir up problems that don't really exist. The majority of Americans keep their biases and prejudices behind closed doors. They don't put it out for public consumption. Why would one want to draw negative attention to themselves?
If another Covington Catholic or Jussie Smollett situation were to happen today, the leftist media, the far left Dems, and their Hollywood sycophants will react in exactly the same way. If it fits the anti-Trump agenda, they'll run with it, facts be damned. Their lack of apologies to the Covington kids and to Trump supporters in the Smollett case shows they have not learned anything.

You speaking from facts, or just what you want to believe? You actually have no clue, not everybody reports the crime against them for various reason. Hate crimes are real and they are out there, it's just unfortunate that Smollett would try to take advantage of such an ugly crime. People like him and others brings out the skepticism in people, and real victims might be hesitant to come forward. I wouldn't say the hoaxes are of epidemic proportions, that's really really big. Please don't kid yourself , hate crimes are out there and they are very real. Have we forgot about Dylann Roof already, the two black shoppers in Kroger in Kentucky.

Why do people gravitate like sheep to buzzwords? I eagerly await the day in the coming months when "gaslighting" goes out of style as a term. Ditto "narrative." Also, "unpack."

We have the gun in the face of a guy because he had a trump hat on.
We have 2 videos of people who were wearing trump hats ripped off.
