NO, but you have to believe that women are stupid, irresponsible or immoral. Because EVERY pro-life argument is based on those things.

It will begin happening. The Left will begin to unravel at this. Nothing the Feds can do anymore.

Ha, the far right can unravel, too. SB13 in Oklahoma is so extreme that not even Baptist and Catholic organizations are willing to come out in support of it. It bans all abortions. No exceptions. It bans emergency contraceptives, in other words, those drugs that prevent a fertilized egg from implanting in the uterus. Women getting abortions would be subject to up to life in prison. It's worded to nullify any federal laws or rulings that may oppose it. The Republican who heads the committee where it can be considered is refusing to allow it. Instead, the anti-abortion plan is to trigger Oklahoma back to 1912 when all abortion was banned unless it was to save the life of the mother, if and when Roe v Wade is overturned.

Its really not that simple of a process. The SCOTUS could just decide not to take the case. The Supreme Court sees a small percentage of all cases that are brought to them.

The federal government can withhold funds for their actions. Several states have done their best crafting absurd laws to close clinics as is the case in Louisiana, Texas and others. There are several cases in the various appeals courts as the extremists continue their attempt to circumvent RvW.

Extremists in Oklahoma say if Oklahoma can open medical marijuana dispensaries with no response from the Feds, then it should be able to ban all abortion and shut down all abortion clinics.

Technically that's true, of course - but on a practical level, I can't imagine them not taking it. Cases of that magnitude are exactly what they're here to decide. It only takes 4 justices to decide to take the case, and I don't see Thomas, Alito, Kavanaugh, and Gorsuch waving off on it - especially since Gorsuch and Kavanaugh know very well that this is the main reason they're even on the Court.

What are your thoughts? Do you think they'd refuse to hear it?

No clue. They take whatever cases they see fit.

No one is pro abortion. It's a very personal and agonizing decision. But they should be able to have that option. I wish you guys were this compassionate about the kids already here waiting to be adopted.

If New York can murder new born babies because the woman changes her mind at the last minute why can’t Texas execute illegal aliens who jump the border?
