Contact tracing is basic epidemiology in the control of a measles outbreak, but don't let that get in the way of a bit of paranoia. Contacts can be vaccinated if that has not already been done or offered immune globulin to reduce the risk of infection. Close contacts will need to be quarantined. The goal is to stop people from getting sick and stop the outbreak from spreading.
Or how about we do what the Nazi’s did and identify the unvaccinated with yellow stars? Is that the kind of society we want to emulate?
Please do yourself a favor and enroll in a "critical thinking" class. We have had to quarantine people due to disease many times in our national history. Or are you seriously suggesting we NOT try to contain deadly communicable diseases? Why have so many people become so uneducated?

The first instance is a little different as the nurse was working directly with Ebola patients. Ebola and measles are quite different, don’t you think? And this nurse was directly exposed. She also filed a lawsuit because of it. The current situation bans all unvaccinated minors from being in public whether they have come into contact with measles or not.
