You almost have to just give Trump credit for being so corrupt that he can sidestep an investigation like this. Appoint a stooge to give the legal opinion you want. Dems have to feel stupid for not seeing it coming.

so why start the investigation on the Trump campaign in the first place if collusion to conspired with the Russians to meddle in the 2016 U.S. elections is not a legal term according to you?
It's a good thing if the president did not conspire with a foreign entity but there was plenty of reasons to open the investigation. Again Congress and the American public have every right to review and make their own decision. People have made it clear that they don't trust the Barr summary. It leaves even more questions since Mueller and Rosenstein disagreed with Barr on 10 episodes of obstruction.

President Obama has never been under investigation by a special counsel.

And why not get Mueller in to testify? Barr said he was fine with it today. That will just drive yet another stake into the heart of this monstrosity.
