So, why the tax increase now? Condemning and complaining about a wall is different than saying we are going to now be taxed when we were not before, for a wall....
Because it won't be hypocritical. The cry for decades was "vote for us, we will balance the budget".

Ask obama, pelosu and shumer who worked and succeeded in getting a bill passed and financed to get a wall built back when they were in charge.

They never claimed it was an emergency back prior to 2016 that needed immediate funding moved from Homeland. Where was this interest when the republicans controlled everything. Remember Trump asking for a bipartisan bill and he would sign it.
