We didn't arm them directly.

They rolled the Iraqi military and took a lot of equipment and munitions from them.

Syrian rebels were armed by third parties with US goods, countries like Bulgaria and Romania were used. Syrian rebels who had been armed were at times defeated by ISIS or defected to ISIS.

If any enemy knew that it would encourage them to continue attacking !!!
Responding to an act of war isn't the same as starting a war !!!

Maybe you didn't get the memo but the terrorists declared war on us already and the biggest sponsor of terrorism is Iran. They did that with out consulting congress !!!

People love speculation and often talk about hypothetical situations. That is in fact what the amendment being voted on was all about. A hypothetical situation.
Here is one:
What should the President do if an attack wiped-out congress ? Wait until its restored before he defends US interest ? I can't imagen what kind of spineless voters would elect such a person !!!

We armed them directly. And even if we didn't (we did) you would have to be an absolute idiot to not understand that they would get the arms. That's what always happens.

That's about the most un-American thing I've seen posted here in a long time.
It was good enough for Barry to start a war in Libya.

Not OK then (and I said so) not OK now.
That president was stable. This one isn’t. It is a big difference.

He admitted what he did in Libya was his greatest mistake. Lesson to be learned.

He doesn't get to chose what his greatest mistake is !!! That's what a legacy is all about and so far all he has that is lasting is a legacy of lies and corruption !!!

No, it's either right or it isn't. Obama doing what he did in part is the reason we have Trump.
