Fertility rates in the USA have remarkably converged and now vary little from the lowest (something like 1.7 to 2.2). So it's actually less about who is now having babies and more about Whites have a much older population and fewer women in child bearing age, the White fertility rate declined a couple generations earlier than for other groups. Also there are few White immigrants because Europe has an older and mostly affluent population, most immigrants are young and looking for better economic opportunities.
Demographic change has been constant through US history. We went from 100% native to averaging 70% to 90% White with a Black minority until recently. But there was a lot of angst about the new places those Whites came from. The weren't British, Protestant, English speaking, etc etc. Today's older people remember the rare time in history were the US had a non immigrant / assimilated White super majority because the Depression and 2 world wars cut off immigration for a while. But the 1950s are historically atypical.
Other than a few short term fireworks I think demographic change is overrated. I really don't see it changing the core issues, especially as immigrants assimilate and view themselves as Americans rather than immigrants. 100 years from now their descendants will probably be xenophobic against the newcomers of that time. It might change the Republican Party on some issues but there will never be one party rule.

The racial/cultural/religious differences between "natives" and immigrants from the Third World are FAR greater than it was for previous European immigrants.
Many of these new immigrants will NEVER be seen as "Americans", no matter how assimilated they are. There are still 3rd and 4th generation Asian Americans who are still treated as foreigners!

As I have often said, with continued illegal immigration in massive numbers assimilation will not be occurring but colonization instead. In fact it's already happening. Use to be that immigrants wanted to be a part of the melting pot, no so today. We are turning into a salad bowl instead. What happened to diversity in our "immigrant" numbers? When you have too many from one ethnic group it's not a recipe for assimilation. Xenophobia has nothing to do with any of the above.

Because they act like foreigners! You yourself admitted that the difference between the natives and immigrants from the third world are far great today than it was with the early immigrants.

lol Yea I guess that's why Asians, as a group, are very successful. Because they are treated like foreigners???
Unless of course you're talking about quotas then they are treated with little respect. It's like FDR never left.
No one is making people have kids with other races, it's a personal choice, and it seems like the majority of the population is not racist.
I find that reassuring.

Locking people up and throwing them into the poky goes way back and many were u.s. citizens with the wrong last names.
Somehow the OP seems to believe the Dems are assigning spouses to everyone.
