I don't believe in whatever you think I believe in. I am well aware that she was "called over by the bus driver", that does not negate the fact that she stated she was receiving texts from her kid that the kid was being bullied on the bus. And then, she needs to go out to "scare off the coyotes" right when the bus pulls up.
Again, my questions are: Does she do this normally? Is this something that the bus driver has seen her do before? How many other times has she been out there scaring off coyotes when the bus arrives?
Had she not mentioned that her kid was texting her about being bullied on the bus before she did all of that, I'd be more inclined to think nothing of it. But she did mention it.
As for "calling her over", do you know how far from the bus she was when the driver "called her over"? Was she a few feet away, at her door, several yards down a path to their house? Do you know? You're assuming a lot, yourself.
And if my son gets a AR15 pulled on him by a parent does that mean I can return the favor?
Do we get into a Stand Your Ground situation?
And she brought a AR15 not a hand gun. Again there was a certain "Image" she wanted those kids to have, same image many mass shooters also going for, the scary Rambo guy. I own two and I know for a fact that the response I get with my AR-15 (big black man with a AR15 gets attention) is much more impactful than any handgun or long rifle I own. She is not helping the Second Amendment fight.
Wow, she needed to bring a rifle to intimidate a kid? That's just sad.
Well she could have grabbed the little prick by his throat and threatened to kick his ass if he didn't stop bullying her son, but then she would have been arrested for assault. Actually I think what she did was pretty slick, she intimidated the bully and didn't fire a shot or hurt anyone.
She may be the reason her kid is bullied! "Your mother is crazy!" "Oh look, here comes Annie Oakley or is it Calamity Jane?" "Hey Bonnie ...where's Clyde?"

You're assuming the bully was intimidated. If he isn't, what's her next step - showing a bazooka? It's pretty obvious that the implied threat is one she can't carry out. Brinksmanship is a stupid game, played by stupid people.

Problem with her threat is that she would never be able to carry it out without doing some serious jail time as a result. So she didn't accomplish anything.

There is no way to prove it, but I would be willing to bet the bully never bothers her son again. Do I agree with what she did? No.
