In Republican dream land, if you get caught doing something the church doesn't like, such as smoking or even possessing marijuana, you get executed within 24 hours? How can people who support those kind of policies say they are for freedom and small government?
That already happens in Singapore. Note they don’t have a drug problem.

Using drugs/alcohol to have fun or cope with your issues = stupid and pointless and harmful.

Putting people in jail for using drugs/alcohol also = stupid and pointless and harmful.

No way bro, weed helped me a LOT with my issues. It’s a beautiful thing what it did for me.

It’s a perfectly natural substance, there is literally no reason it should be demonized.

Maybe for some, but not necessarily.

A lot of things are stupid and pointless and harmful.

Absolutely, 100%, full stop.

This one is the one that really matters, because it's a matter of privacy.

Of all the stupid and pointless and harmful things a person can do, it's utterly outrageous that we pay the state to invade people's privacy and rob them, and sometimes imprison them and ruin their lives. For smoking a plant that literally grows wild.

Outrageous.

In their fundamentalist Christian dictatorship they sure would. The cop would likely be severely punished if not executed for not enforcing the law. Plus, there would likely be tests and qualifications to make sure that only "true believers" could be policemen.

Is that poster a fundamentalist Christian?

Incidentally, Genesis 1:29 "And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat."

It altered your state of mind because you can’t handle reality. Pathetic.
