Just saying that Walmart nor Amazon is the cheapest place in for everything, tariffs or not. Depending on the item, cheaper prices can be found for when items are on sale at the local supermarket chain, the dollar store, or Aldi/Lidi.

That's what happens when you stop selling ammo to your Deplorable base. Profits drop and your base get's pizzed.

To be fair, the cutting of hours has less to do with the Tarriffs, and more to do with the GOP supported plan that allows employers to dictate healthcare. It is more about keeping them under the threshold for Full Time Benefits. Walmart is famous for this (as are others).

Those increases of 5 to 7% (bike screwdriver) are ADMITTED by the manufacturers to be due to tariffs costs. But, on cue, I'm sure many here will disagree with what the VENDORS THEMSELVES CLAIM. After all, the vendors don't know as much as the web sites that the Right read.

ONLY on Chinese junk

why does a screwdriver need to be made in china, or overseas....are Americans incapable of making a screwdriver now-a-days??

tariffs are a good thing

Even those who get healthcare pay a lot for it. My stepson pays 1/4 of his monthly salary.

Core inflation is at 1.7% right now? Essentially optimal inflation? Keep in mind US consumers saved an average of $2,200 because of the tax cuts namely the doubling of the standard deduction and wage inflation has been over 3% for 12 straight months! I don’t see the big deal here. The central bank printing a bunch of money to spend on domestic programs ie what the left is trying to do would be infinitely worse for inflation.

Correct phrase would be: "Americans are incapable of making <anything> cheap now-a-days".
