Prices UP at Walmart - due partially to tariffs (interview, accuses, companies)

Well, this could put to rest the pundits who say there will not be any increases:

Those increases of 5 to 7% (bike screwdriver) are ADMITTED by the manufacturers to be due to tariffs costs. But, on cue, I'm sure many here will disagree with what the VENDORS THEMSELVES CLAIM. After all, the vendors don't know as much as the web sites that the Right read.

This is not surprising to me. We are moving production towards NOT using cheap subsidized Chinese labor. I expect prices to go up some.

It's either that, or continue to lose hundreds of billions annually on trade w/ China.

We are going to pay one way or the other.

My stepson has stocked there for 3 years. They cut night stockers to 24 hours a week and most of the cashiers to 24-32 hours a week.
