I don’t know that I follow him closely. I have been watching him from the beginning because I think he is funny. I don’t have to always agree with someone in order to like them.
His New Rules is the worst comedy, you might as well switch the channel. They are childish and he gets annoyed if he doesn't get laughs.

He was a moron in that particular episode. But one use of the N-word and that makes him a racist bigot? Come on.....and I don't by any means endorse the use of that word but you are really reaching for it here.

I thought he was spot on here. No doubt, some more liberals will go on to disown him for his continued blasphemy.
I don't listen to Maher the comedian for political discussion any more than I'd listen to Roseanne Barr for her opinions. Not sure why he seems to be followed so closely by his critics on the right.

Actually, they have acknowledged their friendship publicly on several occasions.
These days it seems political foes are supposed to hate each other. I liked it better back when we could disagree on politics and still respect one another.
And trying to appease conservative white people is also a thing.

All people, regardless of color, can hold racist ideas about their own groups, because racist ideas and what is normal and right (White is the correct answer) has been brainwashed into us. It requires the use of intellect and inquiry to get rid of it and see racism for what it is.
