Not only would we never be able to fund Medicare for all, how would services be increased dramatically to care for all of those citizens that would on the plan❓

Existing Medicare is already in short supply with many providers not participating and seniors have long waiting periods to be seen. Medicare for all would guarantee that people older than 40 would have no chance of getting medical care in this country.

Medicare for all would never work❗️(Much less for non-citizens)

At least Warren has a plan, unlike the GOP, who has promised much and delivered zero.

I'd rather have NO PLAN than a DESTRUCTUVE, unworkable PLAN. What has the GOP promised that hasn't been delivered? Or are you just making stuff up yet again?

Oh, but wait! I have a "plan" Wow. Stalin, Mao and Hitler had a plan too. How'd that work out?

The truth is Trump’s grandfather immigrated from Germany. Trump’s father lied about his heritage so as not to scare off Jewish immigrants who rented thousands of apartments from him. Guess he never clued in his own family.

Many are surprised to learn their family’s oral history differs from reality.

As it relates to healthcare, Trump campaigned on the promise to “ repeal and REPLACE Obamacare with something wonderful that would take care of everybody and the government was going to pay for it†any way you slice it, Trump ran on a platform of Universal Healthcare funded entirely by government ( taxes and debt).

He had no plan to support his promise. He had no plan to pay for it. And he has not delivered on that promise.

I am an advocate for Universal Healthcare. Not so much for a Medicare for All scheme.

No two countries use the same strategy to deliver Universal Healthcare. A few countries rely entirely on private insurance. A few rely on a Single Payer scheme. Most are a mixed bag. A few do not involve employers in healthcare. Most however, do.

No POTUS has the authority to make law. It takes an Act of Congress. Medicare for All is DOA, no matter the party that holds the majority.

For crying out loud, Congress can’t even authorize Medicare to negotiate the price of medications, despite Medicare is the single largest pay or of prescription meds.
I like the idea of Medicare as the main insurance fund for healthcare. Privatizing of our Medical insurance system is leading to creating a middleman system. One which is creating huge profits and higher costs. Having watched family members lives extended because of Medicare it is the best available system.

Medicare for All would cost approximately $10K a year per person.

I'm all for helping people who need help but the stuff democrat's want to pay for is just insane.

...and some how, all those tens of trillions to fund this free stuff, will only be paid by the rich people.

That is what it costs for private health insurance (based on the documents sent for my pre-Medicare retirement health care).

Medicare for all would be less as profit would not be needed. No shareholder's needed.

But everyone else will be paying your share, you won't see any increases in costs to you.

Most people have an employer subsidized health care insurance plan, where the employer pays the bulk of the costs. For example:
For HMOs, the average employer contributed $5,520 for single coverage (78 percent), while employees contributed $1,532. For family coverage, the split was $12,221 (64 percent) and $6,850, respectively.

For PPOs, the average employer contributed $5,653 for single coverage (81 percent), while employees contributed $1,312. For family coverage, the split was $13,430 (69 percent) and $6,050, respectively.
What will be your cost once your employer is not paying the lions share? Where will all that money go that your employer was paying?
