What is there to whine about?

Apparently one can "catch" the measles any time of the year at Disney Land in Ca.

MMRV vaccine potential side effects:

"Seizures, often associated with fever, can happen after MMRV vaccine. The risk of seizures is higher after MMRV than after separate MMR and varicella vaccines when given as the first dose of the series in younger children. Your health care provider can advise you about the appropriate vaccines for your child.

In people with serious immune system problems, this vaccine may cause an infection which may be life-threatening. People with serious immune system problems should not get MMRV vaccine."

Tdap vaccine potential side effects:

Moderate problems following Tdap:
(Interfered with activities, but did not require medical attention)

Pain where the shot was given (up to 1 in 5 or 6)
Redness or swelling where the shot was given (up to about 1 in 16 adolescents or 1 in 12 adults)
Fever over 102°F (about 1 in 100 adolescents or 1 in 250 adults)
Headache (about 1 in 7 adolescents or 1 in 10 adults)
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach ache (up to 1 or 3 people in 100)
Swelling of the entire arm where the shot was given (up to about 1 in 500).

Severe problems following Tdap:
(Unable to perform usual activities; required medical attention)

Swelling, severe pain, bleeding, and redness in the arm where the shot was given (rare).
Not sure why we're talking about DTaP, that's not what the OP is about. Do you understand the definition of "rarely"?

I do! Do you understand your own statement, "There is no evidence that the MMR or any vaccine is unsafe?"

Even the CDC disagrees with your vaccine propaganda.

Those are just from the first two vaccines listed on the CDC's own website.
LOL!

Did you miss "extremely rarely" and "as with any medicine"?

Don't take Tylenol, Advil, an antibiotic, a blood thinner, etc. either.

What is you definition of "unsafe"?

It's potentially UNSAFE to walk across the street, drive a car, pet a dog, get married...

Even the CDC disagrees with your vaccine propaganda.
What propaganda does the CDC disagree with?

Is that the same as your unsafe anti-vax propaganda?

Where do YOU get your info from?

Stop twisting KNOWN facts (by all) in to some sort of "gotcha".

What informed info said. There is no medication with zero side effects. There's a saying in pharmacy that if there are no SE the med doesn't do anything.

It becomes a simple matter of risk analysis. Not all occurrences and adverse effects are equally weighted, much to the dismay of the industry.

Which industry? The alt med industry? ALL vaccines are orders of magnitude safer than the diseases they prevent.

I have no idea what anti-vaxers do but I suspect they are aware of the risks of not vaccinating and make their own choice. I am not against vaccinations but I believe people have the right to make a choice about their own bodies, a principle embodied in Roe v. Wade. And I don't really subscribe to the idea that we are a herd and must be managed like a herd and build up herd immunity. We are after all individuals, each with the right of self determination. If we don't have the right for self determination and will let society force medical treatments on us for the good of society, let's start with forcing birth control on people who are wholly unqualified to be having babies, like drug addicts.
