Gotcha, didn't see that. I just had a friend go through a terrible car accident that shattered his femur and he is struggling financially as a result of it.

That's a good example. That can be a huge devastating blow to a family. My father's family went through this when my dad's father died from a heart attack when my dad was 10.

Seriously? As a result of all that "helping" we have generational poverty. Half of all US births every year are paid for by Medicaid (the public assistance health care program for the poor), and 70% of those born poor never rise above the bottom 20% income level (maximum income $25,000) their entire lives.
I didn't mention any specific policy Bud! Stop the strawmen! Some of the 'helping' is absolutely not good but that is not my point and frankly you are to obtuse to continue this conversation.

Okay, fine this case is legitimate.

However, this is your idea of a typical struggling family??! Lol get real.

Just the other day I listened to a conservative rant about how the wall was needed and almost in the same breath, rant about how the drug cartels were coming to the U.S. Via hundreds of tunnels dug under the border.

Logical thinking is in short supply these days.
Those “good old boys” usually have great paying jobs in various skilled labor trades and are entitled to spend their hard earned money however they please.

I have no comment on your plea for open borders as I find it irrelevant to this thread.

Let’s force other people to foot the bill. All hails to slavery!

There’s no life insurance? Why having two kids when the entire family depends on one income?

The other basic things would be more affordable if everyone paid 30% less in taxes.

My very good friend is a single mother who is now a widow. She in her 40s and struggling working part time at her father's mechanic shop. They are everywhere. How about moms whose husband leave or are abusive. Should they stay and be beaten just so they don't struggle or leave? Ever hear of woman's shelters or do you wish they just took responsibility and lived on the street 24/7 with their kids. I know they all should be psychic so they can tease out all the possibilities and make the absolute right choices. Do you really think people have this kinda insight into the future. Is it at all possible in your little world for some to struggle who are not irresponsible or at fault?
