I don’t think the military would comply. There is no precedent for national martial law.

More likely, I think, would he be appealing the results of the election.

This impeachment investigation is far from over so you have no idea what the Senate will do when the rest of the dirt comes out. Lots of insiders who worked fro Trump are going to testify. It will not be pretty.

If you recall, Trump pardoned Arpaio before there was a trial. A preemptive pardon. Just in case there was a crime.

I wonder why he didn't do the same for Roger Stone

If there is one thing we learned from Trump it is that he makes his own laws as he goes along. He won't care if nobody else invoked martial law, he will try if it suits him. I have no idea what he will do but he is not rational and he is self-serving so it likely won't be pretty.

It would if Pence wanted it to.

Ask around. Maybe you can find someone who will tell you what the "southern district of NY" is.

Vietnam killed Johnson slowly. Obama went grey nursing us through the great recession. Reagan went senile. Wilson had a stroke while in office. Roosevelt died in office. To think that all of this is water off of a ducks back when it comes to Trump denies the fact that his weight and his troubles might be affecting his health.
This probably is the best bet. The visit appeared to have been unplanned. Trump is renown for his tantrums. My guess is he got worked up enough to cause concern. Normally in this situation the WH doc might slip him a valium or two. But the man has heart disease (high calcium score per his last physical).

Who in the world would want to give the President of the United States a tranquilizer only to have him keel over. That would be awkward indeed.

Best to get him calmed down at Walter Reed then ship him back to the WH where he can resume tweeting.
