Sondland has a lot of clean up to do.
Fair play to him for actually turning up, unlike some of the other partners in crime.
But he has had to revise his statement after his 'memory was refreshed' since his closed door appearance. Apparently he has even further clean up to do today since hearing other witnesses.
He's facing up to some very tough questions.

- U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland is set to testify in a House impeachment inquiry hearing that President Donald Trump directed his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani to pursue a “quid pro quo.”
- “Mr. Giuliani’s requests were a quid pro quo for arranging a White House visit” for Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, Sondland says in an opening statement provided by his lawyer to CNBC.
- “Mr. Giuliani was expressing the desires of the President of the United States, and we knew that these investigations were important to the President,” according to Sondland’s statement.
Can any Trumpling still tell us with a straight face there was no quid pro quo?
Or are they all now to the point where they're telling us there's nothing wrong with a quid pro quo?
Sondland’s opening statement implicates Trump, Mulvaney, Pompeo and to a lesser extent Pence and Bolton. This is probably the worst possible start to the day for Trump.
Who will be the first GOP Representative to accuse Sondland of being a “never Trumper”?
Sondland is stating "I followed the direction's of the President".
Trump, Pompeo and Rudy now under the bus.
This could get real ugly.
Exactly. This may be the nail in Trump’s impeachment coffin. What this testimony will reveal is that the Trump Administration truly is no more than a criminal enterprise.
Trumpist minions will now justify the Trump’s crime with inanities, deflection and smears. It is all they will have have.
It'll be interesting how they'll try to say the usual stuff with Sondland. The guy who handed over a million dollars.
