Wonder why?
Because they were Black thugs most likely already with multiple felonies that broke all the very restrictive gun laws NJ already has. I guarantee they were already prohibited from legally touching a firearm, and they've plead down previous convictions to get little or no jail time. That's why. They don't want to expose the real problem because they just want to have an excuse to disarm the law abiding.

Then it's a "double-whammy." The liberal media plays down attacks BY blacks and AGAINST Jews. So something like this would get little cover.

Agreed. This old solution has never worked, and of course, our politicians, who are paid handsomely by the NRA, knew it would never help, but it "looked good" to their unthinking supporters.
As to the original poster ..."today's active shooter" used to be every month, then every week, and now every day. Sad.
The only way to stop gun violence is get rid of the damned guns. There are many ways to do so and still provide for sport and recreational gun use.
It will take at least a hundred years to get rid of all of the iron which is out there. The journey starts with a simple step forward. Each day, every day, get a fifty thousand of the things off the street. That's nearly 20 Million guns each year. In ten years we will have made a dent. In fifty years we could actually solve the problem.
But we have to want to do so. Thus far, a few gun deaths each day is not enough to move the needle. Maybe if get a few thousand some Sunday afternoon in a football stadium on national TV it will have an impact. A real gory slaughter.
They don’t care even then. Their entire family & friends could be blown away & they wouldn’t care as long as they can fondle their precious guns. That’s how depraved they are.
