I didnt vote for someone that's husband material, i voted for what they would do to help our country regarding courts, ullegal immigration, economy, jobs, foreign policy.
The dems would crash the economy, have open borders, health care for illegals, lib judges that want to legislate progressive/whackjob agenda, weaken us militarily. Not to mention bankrupt us with their everything is free and new green deal.

Ah, back when America was great. Can you imagine a Democratic candidate getting away with an excuse like "Bimbo eruption" now? There is a whole generation that has come of age between that incident and today. I raised one of those people and I raised her to believe no one has the right to put their hands on her.

It's not that Trump is a *****-grabbing pig, it's that a man can brag about being able to sexually assault someone and too many people see that as OK. If it was just him doing it then it wouldn't be a big deal. I almost wonder if that whole thing wasn't stagged. It was almost too perfect that during that admission he addressed every single excuse people make for that kind of behavior. It wasn't what she was wearing, she didn't lead him on, she didn't invite the behavior..."I don't even wait I just start..."

Funny how all the Dems who whine about Trumps womanizing ways ignore Bill Clinton's. I dont think Trump did anything against anyone's will...do you? Monica was a willing participant, but many others were not.

Big diff in my book.

How can Conservatives like Trump?
I don't "like" him at all and I don't have to like him. I don't "like" any politicians but see them as a necessary evil.

Why will I vote for him? Because I don't want what the Democrats are selling. Simple as that.

Monica was in no position to give consent. She was facing the most power man in the world.

That was a rape not a consensual sex.

It’s not a sexual assault of the women let him grab.

Trump has been a billionaire and a playboy for decades.

Conservatives say that they like smaller deficits. What has Trump done to help with this? Lower taxes and demand more spending on the military does what exactly to the budget? There are future deficits "baked into the cake" with demographics of age and social security and medicare....which aren't Trump's fault...but does he act to reduce these? No, Trump blows the deficits up larger during a supposed economic boom. What will happen to these deficits when we hit a recession?

Conservatives say that they like family values. Trump is on wife #3, has had affairs, has had severe allegations against him by women, has had affairs with porn stars, uses abusive language, insults half the country routinely, etc...

Conservatives say they want less welfare and less crony-capitalism. Have welfare rules been substantially changed? Have farmers not gotten bigger bailouts than ever.....are these bailouts a form of welfare or a form of crony-capitalism?

Conservatives cheered when Candidate Trump claimed that the FED policy under Obama created economic inequality and an economic bubble. Trump pointed out that the FED balance sheet went up trillions under Obama. Now Trump is demanding that the FED do the exact same things that he said created a bubble under Obama. He wants the FED to increase their balance sheet and push interest rates lower. Why would we need this economic stimulus if the economy was "the greatest ever?"

Conservatives cheered when Trump said that winning trade wars would be easy. How is that going?

Conservatives cheered when Trump said Mexico would pay for the wall. How is the wall going? Is Mexico paying for it?

Why do conservatives like Trump?
Think, harder, I'm sure you can figure it out.

You've got your answer: now go home and examine your self-righteousness.
Self-righteousness?

I am not saying anyone is a bad person for voting for Trump and I am not saying anyone is a better person if they don't plan on voting for Trump. There are good people in all parties...and some not so good people in all parties.

I am just wondering why the disconnect...

Conservatives give Trump a high approval rating, but he doesn't seem to follow the values of conservatives. Bigger deficits, bigger government, etc...

Makes sense when he was a Democrat, then a Republican, then a Democrat again, then a Reform Party member, then a Democrat, and then a Republican.
