What do you mean by conned? Did you actually believe that a Republican government was not inclined to war to achieve goals?

Appropriate retaliation would be to assassinate a USA General. Who's first in line?

Well, none of us want that... but can you imagine if they decided to follow Trump's example and drop a drone in the States to kill one of America's terrorists?

It would be anarchy.

But since it's a non-American terrorist on the other side of the world, it's cool. He was a bad dude. Good job, Trump.

I mean, how many of these fools have even been to the middle east, let alone Iran? I have. Trump couldn't find it on a map. Was it his first time in 2019 visiting the troops? It's a good job he wasn't navigating. Mr Bone Spurs. He'd probably point to Congo. Idiot.

Trump campaigned against endless war in the Middle East. Right now people all across Flyover Country are looking at one another and saying, "That m------f----r lied. He's going to start another dumba$$ war in the Middle East and our problems here at home are just going to get worse."

If it does come to war with Iran I hope all the media and establishment types line up to incredulously ask "how are you going to pay for it?" the way they do when people talk about expanding social programs. To put it in perspective the Iraq war cost $2.4 trillion. Free college for all is estimated to cost about $80 billion a year. That means that for the cost of the Iraq war we could have payed for free, universal college education to be available to all Americans for 30 years. A war with Iran would certainly cost more because it has more challenging terrain and a greater ability to defend itself.

You are aware that Obama killed 2800+ people with drone strikes, including over 100 civilians, right?

Well, we'll have to see what President Trump does over the next five years and add up the numbers after that I guess.

I don't support a war with Iran and disappointed the Trump administration is sending more troops to the middle east.
