But the biggest problem is, instead of him learning from his many mistakes, he is becoming more aggressive and unhinged as time goes on. Any normal person would see that what they are doing is not working, and they would try to correct their behavior...………...but not this buffoon. He has no off button, no self control.
The sky is falling. Wawawawawa.

His deficit spending and trade tariffs are dismantling neo-liberal financial policy.

He's pushing a disengagement with China which is used as a cheap labor supply to artifically increase capital gains and price out smaller businesses:

His foriegn policy has hurt US power in the middle east which is a great thing for people like me who want to end US imperialism.

Actually the criticism from democrats on Trump's Iran policy come from right-wing talking points that Trump is strategically damaging the United States (which is a good thing and hurts corporate power domestically).

https://twitter.com/matthewstoller/s...27523931435008

His trade policy has promoted democracy for the first time after Bush, Obama, Clinton, and Reagan worked over time to destroy it ^^^^^^^^^.

Yes, supporting global trade over domestic law disregards democratic effectiveness.

He has lowered the corporate tax rate which means the federal government is less reliant on corporate investment for funding, increasing the economic power of small scale consumers/producers. He has cut back ineffective welfare spending.

I'm not a supporter of Trump, I'm well to the left of anyone here, but if it is between Trump and Biden I'll vote Trump or stay at home (probably the latter).

PS. It's surprising that all attacks on Trump from the democrats here have been far right (more Russian aggression, more imperialism, more globalism, etc.)
"His deficit spending and trade tariffs are dismantling neo-liberal financial policy."????? wtf does that mean?

Deficit spending and tariffs are horrible economics. To say otherwise is what ones who are constantly wrong about the economy say.

But yes, Trump isn't as bad as Obama or Bush but he's still bad and can't keep his word. And he's not as bad as Hillary would have been but he's bad.
Granted that means he'll be re elected.

If you're a libertarian sure.

I don't like the idea of deficits conceptually, but that's a problem with the underlining function of our economy, not presidential policy.

Our current system revolves around pricing public goods (from private sellers) at a higher rate than average wages. That includes things like housing, medical care, electricity, etc.

It also includes newer 'necessities' for producers like tractors or cars; the latter two help fund the lending economy.

That's just speak for private equity investors and wall street financers to control capital, and off shore labor. Deficits are just government stimulus to help balance the pockets of property owners (both big and small) so that the lending economy (or the fractional reserve banking system) does not get to dictate the social and economic standards of Americans.

Its a populist slant that is backed by trade warfare punishing liberal capital concentrating capital away from domestic producers. Offshoring is not done for the sake of Americans, its done so investors can have a better bottom line to liquidate the company and reinvest its assets into government bonds and real-estate deals.

Its not the solution I like, nor do I wish it to go on forever, but Trump is at least building a real industrial policy for American citizens, plus lowering the corporate tax rate so the government is less dependent on their funds.
