Lol, the flow is high when it comes on every several hours. When it's not working it's low-flow. That's the point. It's not efficient and burns needless electricity.

You misunderstood. Flow is in relation to a period. To say the flow is high because it is flowing for several hours is like saying that a car going at 100mph is only going fast if it is going 100mph for hours. The period of the jets is actually quite low - seconds to minutes. The flow is high for those seconds to minutes, however.

We are not doing theoretical physics here. Here's the simple issue: the older dishwashers cycled with ALL jets on in less than 30 minutes. Your dishes were thoroughly cleaned with a minimum of time & electricity used.

The new machines do not do as good of a job as the old machines and the public hates them.

And because of all of the added complexity needed to cycle those jets, the machines break down far more often and are more expensive to repair. All because government said they had to be built that way.

Measurements are not theoretical Physics. Neither is English. You're backpeddling on saying that dishwashers are low-flow... Dishwashers are not like showerheads. There's nothing low-flow about them.

Read my quote about not seeing the forest for the trees. Dishwashers are low flow when the jet cycles are reduced as they are in the new machines. Your technical quibbles are useless. I back peddled on nothing.

You should read IDoPhysics post here. You're not understanding what flow is. You're absolutely wrong here.
