Kobe Bryant was a great basketball player and it looks like he committed rape... Since then he has shown to have grown up and looks like turn his life around...

Kobe was a huge sports star. Anyone can accuse someone like that looking for a payday. I don't remember how credible it all was, but it would be easy for a woman to do that to try and get money out of him.

But if you are part of Hollywood and the #Metoo movement, the woman is to be believed, therefore he should be considered a rapist by their stance. Aren’t they being hypocritical?
1) He's just a performer that made a pile a money playing a children's game so I have a problem caring anyway (not that I'm happy he's passed). People die every single day.

2) And yes-the celebrities that claim to care about sexual assault victims ARE hypocrites of they cry alligator tears over an accused rapist.

Well....Trump essentially talked about groping women (walking up to them and grabbing them by the kitty), allegedly has cheated on his wife.....and people thought enough of him to make him President. You have to figure with the money he says he has....that he probably paid to silence a lot of women. Now you want to throw Kobe under the bus for a women who agreed to go to his hotel room and agreed to kiss him (foreplay)....but says she did not agree to anything else.

I was never a big fan of Kobe....but let him rest in peace.

Really? Why don't you start a thread about it? This one is about Bryant.

I doubt that Kobe Bryant was any kind of a moral person or should be a role model for anybody. His wife said he cheated on her at least 100 times. He was very rich and lived it up in every possible way. He was a typical celebrity. That is all.

Having said that, a helicopter crash that killed nine people is a terrible event.

Some people concluded that he is not deserving of any praise, despite his tragic death, due to an alleged rape (think of it as an alleged accusation of racial discrimination by a black person). Yet, what greater praise is there to be exalted to the Presidency of the United States, despite talking about groping women and alleged infidelity?

This is not about Kobe's alleged act. This is really jealousy. Some people just hate the fact that a black man was winning like that....living much better than they can dream of living. Had his own helicopter....lol (like Richie Rich from the comic strip). They are just looking for an excuse to tear him down. Even in an early death, he achieved more than you all will ever achieve....and then some.

I hear my white co-workers talking about hating the NBA because "they are all thugs". But Hockey players...they are good guys....despite the brawls and fighting on ice. Face it.....a lot of white folks just HATE seeing blacks WINNING!!!

If you read his comment, he sure looks like he is admitting something. I would say there is way more to this case than then there ever was against Kavanaugh.

Thank God Trump didn't nominate Kobe to the SCOTUS. democrats' heads would have imploded from mixed feelings.

Then why did you start the thread, newbie?

Seriously. Do you think we lack drama in here? If so, you'd be wrong.
