What you mean to say is, we wouldn't understand unless we were mentally ill. We got it. The left votes to turn their communities into open air mental asylums. Then after doing so, they feel the need to demonstrate and protest non stop, usually tearing up their own communities in the process. And you all think you are the enlightened ones who know what's best...

between nitwits like these and the boneheaded 'leadership' of 'red billy' diblasio, soon no one will be crazy enough to want be a cop in NYC and the problem will solve itself.

Police are preparing for a massive anti-police protest that could bring chaos to Friday’s morning and afternoon transit commutes, officials said.

Protesters are expected to jump turnstiles en masse and tag up train stations throughout the five boroughs during the anti-NYPD rally, titled “F--- The Police III," which is in response to alleged “over-policing” in the subway, including supposed racially-motivated fare-beating arrests and ticketing.

The purpose of the rally isn't just to randomly protest the police...it is to address what some see as targeted harassment by the police to subway riders.

Seems there has been an increase police presence in the subway and they have been targeting people of color, low income....harassing them. The recent arrests are disproportionately low income brown people.

Seems it is significant enough that there is an official inquiry into the matter.

And like most cases where there might be a reasonable concern --- a bunch of yahoos jump on board and the message gets lost in the chaos.

Arresting people stealing services is not harassment. When the majority of people committing crimes are black and Hispanic, the majority of people arrested will be black and Hispanic. This is not rocket science.

Absolutely true, but these nitwits never believe that it's their fault; it's always RACISM!

if these are the folks disproportionately jumping turnstiles, what are they supposed to do?

here's the entitled mindset you're defending:

“The mood for J31 is simple,” one man says. “F-- your S2.75, no cops in the MTA, free transit, no harassment period and full accessibility.”

Nothing. Just let them do whatever they want.
It's not worth the headache.

They will likely band together to protest the virus, aiding in it's spread. Then they will call the virus racist and criticize the lack of diversity of the people afflicted.
