If I were the Police Union President, I'd encourage NYPD to stand down on enforcing the law today. Should be fun, actually the cops probably like this, probably get them a raise by the time it's over. Anarchy in the streets ..... lmao.. (any press coverage will be slanted toward the protestors) ...
think of all the money New York has spent to attract tourism back into the city. Stories like this and the crime rate going up is going to be a disaster for de Blasio. He'll back the protestors, nobody will go to jail.
I'd use facial recognition camera's to identify all of these protesters for future reference.
When these protesters call the police at any time in their futures to ask for police assistance, the police should just say...."we're kid of tied up right now, call us back next week and we'll see if we ca help you out then"

the very idea that people have to receive punishment proportional to their numerical population, not their actual behavior, is jaw-dropping stupidity.

If they are gonna jump the turnstiles enmasse the cops should kick it old school and shoot them all up with tear gas and rubber bullets.
