stone had a jury trial with legal representation. curious to know what exactly trump finds " horrible and very unfair " about our legal system.
The thing that's horrible and unfair is that the entity prosecuting Stone is (or was) full of people who told more numerous, bigger, and more consequential lies about the same broad topic without punishment.
As far as I know the only thing he did was deny trying to obtain the emails from Assange which itself is not a crime. Lying about it to federal investigator is. Every news organization and undoubtedly the Clinton campaign would of been trying to obtain them.
Roger Stone always struck me as a pompous, smug, overdressed pimp. Wonder how he will look in orange?
Stone will look like a pompous, smug pimp in an orange jumpsuit. If he can find a way to overdress in the jumpsuit, he will do it.
But not for very long, I expect. Stone, Manafort and Trump go back a very long way. They have been partners off and on, or associates at other times, and they have a contentious 3-way friendship where one of them is always on the outs, but it shifts around all the time.
I expect Trump will pardon Stone pretty quickly. In Trump's eyes, Stone didn't make the mistakes Manafort made and Stone stuck by Trump tighter and said nothing. Now that Trump feels omnipotent, he won't hesitate to pardon Stone.
And he might pardon Manafort later on if he feels Manafort has finally paid his dues.
Aaron Zelinsky, who played a key role in former special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, said in a filing with the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia that he would not serve as the government's counsel in Stone's case going forward.
LOCK THEM UP!!!!!!!!!!!! Lock up all the criminal Trump cronies.
