Not sure I trust what appears in NBC blog, but it this is true, yes, others could be affected. It wouldn't be a surprise it this did happen, but I have to say, I am surprised we haven't read this anywhere else. At least it wasn't on any news or TV yesterday.

The CDC woman is creating panic. Trump is very level headed. There have been 35 cases in the US and 33 were from people who returned from China.

Think what you want, but don't be surprised when he wins again in Nov. He has not dismissed climate change, he just feels like many others. it isn't the number one concern at this time and it has been overplayed. This has little to do with Trump and for people in Europe it has more to do with open borders.

What a load of baloney. The media is conducting interviews with CDC officials, WHO officials and those officials are presenting the information we need to know. If you want to listen you might find the facts.

The lack of credibility in the media is a propaganda myth being used to discredit any negative criticism being presented.

And you fall for it.

If you can't process the information being provided and tell what is fact and what isn't -- don't blame the media. That's on you.

CDC officials are giving frequent interviews with all kinds of media. You can hear the message from them directly.

Trump administration says it's contained.

CDC said it's spreading.

Who to believe?

Yawn....

President Trump has created a new task force to lead the government's response to the fast-spreading coronavirus, the White House announced Wednesday. Led by Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar and coordinated through the National Security Council, the task force is made up of subject matter experts from across the federal government and has been meeting daily since Monday. Members of the 12-member group include National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Robert Redfield, and the National Institutes of Health's Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Absolutely. And dont forget no one gets into the higher echelons of govt by being a truth teller. They are all suspect.

There is no sustained person to person spread in the US. Trump acted fast to prevent travel to infected areas. We have very few cases relative to other countries with a strong business and travel relationship with China. You are very lucky to live here under Trump.
